Letting myself “go” both physically and nutritionally left me feeling defeated and discouraged. Well, it just so happens, my daughter, found Alyssa on Instagram, started going to her and from the beginning, she said, “mom, I think she would be perfect for you”. I felt welcomed, validated and like I had known [Alyssa] forever. So welcoming, concerned and intrigued by my disease. Now let’s just say, I’m so not a fan of exercising at all! [Now] I can get myself off the floor!!! For me, that is HUGE!! I feel confident. I feel stronger. I feel I’ve accomplished, though they maybe baby steps, some moves and strength training exercises that were a challenge in the past. [Alyssa] has given me many ideas and advice on getting back on track, nutrition wise-I’m motivated to finally start with more enthusiasm than I’ve had before. I feel I’ve I new lease on life.
