I’m Alyssa Nakos

Hi! I’m Alyssa, owner of One Strong Mother; Fitness and Nutrition. I’m a mom to two beautiful little girls, wife, personal trainer and nutrition coach. It’s my personal mission to help busy moms find a way to incorporate fitness and healthy nutrition into their lives.

I want every woman to feel strong and confident in her body

My Story

My personal fitness journey started when I graduated from college. I was overweight, had several health issues, and was told that if I couldn’t get my health in order, there was a good chance I couldn’t have children. I knew I desperately wanted to be a mom, so I finally decided to make my health a priority.

I learned everything I could about health and fitness and went on to earn my Personal Training Certification through NASM and my Nutrition Coaching Certification and Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery Coaching through Precision Nutrition.

After having two babies myself, I completed extensive training to become a pre-and postnatal trainer and I’m well-versed in the changes that happen to the body during the pregnancy and postpartum chapters.

I also know how busy and chaotic motherhood can be so I design quick, effective workouts to get you moving and feeling strong.

Hi! I’m Nicole, a PN certified Nutrition Coach and the Administrative Coordinator here at OSM. 

My biggest goal is to help people to live in a body they feel confident, energized, and beautiful in. 

I’m honored to work towards that goal with a passionate team of women who respect and believe in, not only each other but our clients as well.

I live in Wyoming with a family I adore. I’m a wife to an epically awesome and stoic husband,  and a mom to a fiery and kind-hearted tiny person, 2 quirky dogs, and 1 mischievous cat. 

I love coffee, organizing, deep-cleaning, cooking, design, scuba diving, yard work, and existing in nature. I hate necessary evils, like laundry and putting gasoline in my car.
